The Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) is looking for a highly motivated and dependable individual to join our Finance Division in the new position of Manager, Financial Reporting.

The LTSA a publicly accountable, statutory corporation that manages BC's land title and survey systems. These systems provide the foundation for all real property business and ownership in the province.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide leadership to a small team of highly motivated accounting professionals through goal setting, ongoing assessment and coaching
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial statements and reports
  • Maintain and improve processes and controls for the LTSA and its related subsidiaries
  • Research and provide recommendations on appropriate accounting treatment of complex accounting matters under IFRS
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Project Accounting and Special Projects on departmental initiatives

We encourage you to apply if you have:

  • CPA (CA, CGA, CMA) along with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline
  • 6+ years of managing full cycle accounting/financial reporting for multiple entities
  • 2+ years’ experience at a management level with experience leading people
