Legal professionals access LTSA records for conveyance and other legal matters and are authorized to submit applications to the land title office for registration.

Lawyers and notaries may act as representatives in land-related matters for title owners and advise on issues with respect to land ownership. The LTSA provides access to myLTSA Enterprise for legal professionals to search records and file applications to the LTSA. Legal professionals who only occasionally conduct title searches may prefer to register for the myLTSA Explorer service.

The Law Society of British Columbia, Society of Notaries Public of BC, and BC Association of Professional Registry Agents provide input to the LTSA through the Stakeholder Advisory Committee and other forums. The Society of Notaries Public of BC and BC Association of Professional Registry Agents each nominate a director to the LTSA Board of Directors. The Law Society of British Columbia  nominates two directors to the LTSA Board. The current Chair of the LTSA Board represents The Law Society of British Columbia.
