LTSA Progress on Stakeholder and Customer Objectives in Q2 2019/20

As a customer-centric organization, the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) continually works to improve collaboration with its stakeholders and enhance customer experience in achievement of its Stakeholder and Customer strategic objectives. These objectives are outlined in the 2019 Business Plan and progress is reported on a quarterly basis.

In the second quarter of the 2019/20 fiscal year, the LTSA processed approximately 890,000 online business transactions. Other achievements include:

  • The ParcelMap BC fabric spanning the entire province has been adopted by DataBC and the Agricultural Land Commission, bringing the total number of adopters to 20 by the end of Q2. These organizations are the first in BC to adopt the province-wide fabric in its entirety. ParcelMap BC customers also received improved online resources to support their adoption efforts.
  • The LTSA is modernizing filing and provided customers with a preview of new forms that came into effect November 15, 2019 due to amendments to Part 10.1 of the Land Title Act, along with an early glimpse of Web Filing, scheduled for availability in early 2020. Web Filing is an update to the LTSA’s electronic filing system that reflects evolutions in policy, technology and our customers’ business.
  • We met with our local government and notaries’ customers at three events this quarter to support their adoption of ParcelMap BC, learn more about AUTOPROP, and prepare for Web Filing:
    • MISA BC Conference
    • BC Notaries Fall Conference
    • UBCM Convention

Reporting on the progress being made reflects the LTSA’s commitment to delivering accountable, reliable and trusted public administration. View or download the 2019 Business Plan. Please email moreinfo@ltsa.ca with any questions you may have.
