Ipsos Canada surveyed the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) stakeholders in September and early October 2016 to measure satisfaction with the LTSA's services. The previous LTSA Stakeholder Survey was conducted in 2014.

Overall, results are positive, and similar to those from previous surveys (2011 and 2014).

Key Survey Findings

  • The stakeholder level of trust has increased in the 2016 survey to 97%. This measure is considered by the LTSA to be the most important, reflecting the organization's core values of accountability and integrity.
  • The level of overall satisfaction with the LTSA is 93%.
  • As in prior surveys, "efficient" and "helpful" were the most frequent top-of-mind descriptors of the LTSA.
  • Customers expressed the desire for the LTSA to increase examination consistency and to provide more clear information in land title application defect notices.
