Mr. Cameron Muir has joined the LTSA Stakeholder Advisory Committee representing the BC Real Estate Association (BCREA).

Cameron has spent the last 20 years researching, analyzing, forecasting and writing about the interaction between the economy, population, government policy and British Columbia's real estate markets. Cameron took on the role of Chief Economist at the British Columbia Real Estate Association in 2006, after nearly a decade as Senior Analyst for the BC Region at CMHC.

Representing BC's 11 real estate boards and nearly 22,000 Realtors, Cameron regularly delivers keynote presentations to industry, stakeholders, financial institutions and the public. He has contributed to numerous research evaluation committees, government expert consultations and the IMF, and has been quoted over a thousand times in local, national and international media.

Cameron is a member of the Canadian Association of Business Economists, the Association of Professional Economist of British Columbia, and is an appointee to the BC government’s Economic Forecast Council.
