As the trusted source of land registry and land information services in British Columbia, the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) is committed to providing secure and reliable land title and survey systems. To deliver on this commitment, we continually invest in these systems to ensure they perform to our customers’ expectations.

On Sunday, October 15th, planned maintenance of the myLTSA system will occur during our standard maintenance window. As part of this maintenance, the Technical Operations team will be implementing a major upgrade to the software and infrastructure supporting ParcelMap BC services to provide a more scalable, fault-tolerant and responsive experience for customers.

Services affected by this upgrade are:

  • Survey Plan Dataset Submissions
  • ParcelMap BC Search for myLTSA users
  • ParcelMap BC Search for Guest users
  • ParcelMap Direct

ParcelMap BC service upgrades will involve significant time and effort to deploy and may result in a service disruption into Monday. This week's maintenance window is therefore being extended as a precautionary measure. Another communication will be issued on Sunday to advise customers of ParcelMap BC service availability for Monday. If you have subscribed to receive the myLTSA System Update email, you will receive this communication by email. The LTSA website and @LTSABC on Twitter will also provide this information.

While other myLTSA services are expected to be operational as usual on Monday, ParcelMap BC services will be in an extended maintenance window and may be degraded or temporarily unavailable until further notice.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we thank you for your understanding. These updates are very important to maintaining and improving our overall service to customers.
