The Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) is pleased to announce that Connie Fair, President and CEO, will be a recipient of the 2019 BC CEO Award by Business in Vancouver magazine, in the Public Service category.

Connie Fair also recently received a 2019 YWCA Women of Distinction Award in the Business and Professions category, and the LTSA was recognized as one of BC’s Top Employers in 2019.

“The Board is very happy to see Connie recognized for her outstanding achievements,” says Janice Comeau, Chair of the LTSA Board of Directors. “Connie has transformed LTSA’s business using a customer-centric approach and leveraging technology. Her work has enabled the LTSA to grow, innovate and provide British Columbians with certainty and confidence in our land title and survey systems.”

Under Connie’s leadership, the LTSA is capitalizing on its core competencies in technology and innovation to deliver sustainable, reliable, customer-focused solutions to its stakeholders.

Along with continual improvements to electronic filing, the LTSA is leveraging emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence to further automate title examinations. The LTSA is developing first-of-its-kind services to support the Province’s 30-point housing plan, including the launch of the Condo and Strata Assignment Integrity Register in February 2019 and the Land Ownership Transparency Register in 2020. And through ParcelMap BC and AUTOPROP, the LTSA is providing customers with access to data-rich land information for BC.
