The Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) regrets to inform its stakeholders of the passing of Roderick Naknakim, Board Director. Rod was nominated to the LTSA Board of Directors in 2012 by the First Nations Summit.

Rod was a member of the We Wai Kai First Nation, and a lawyer since 1978 specializing in Aboriginal Law. Rod was also the Chief Negotiator for the Laich-Kwil-Tach Treaty Society and President of the Nuyumbalees Cultural Centre and Board member of Cape Mudge Resort Ltd.
