LTSA at the 2023 UBCM Convention

The Union of BC Municipalities (UBCM) held their annual convention in Vancouver September 18-22, 2023 and is attended by government representatives from across the province, including municipal and regional government representatives, First Nations members and Provincial officials. LTSA attends UBCM to connect in-person with these key stakeholders, and share updates on the breadth of products and services we offer.

While many customers know LTSA as operators and administrators of the province’s land title and survey systems, our offerings extend beyond the land title register to include additional land data related products and services. UBCM attendees such as municipal governments are looking for ways to better understand and visualize the land use, zoning and development across their jurisdictions, and the conference is a valuable opportunity for us to share how LTSA can help facilitate this work. For example, ParcelMap BC and Autoprop are two of our existing products that are used by governments and businesses to research and analyze land use, and we are working one-on-one with cities like Kelowna to explore new ways we can partner together.

LTSA attends UBCM to connect in-person with these key stakeholders, and share updates on the breadth of products and services we offer.

Ultimately, our goal is to develop an information platform that connects data and workflows across multiple touchpoints of housing development and land use to improve transparency and efficiency of the real property market. Our ongoing investments in our core systems provides a solid foundation that can be used to aggregate and analyze land-related data in new ways. Our conversations and meetings at UBCM helped us understand the needs of governments at all levels, and how LTSA can best serve their needs.

We sincerely thank everyone who we connected with at UBCM, and extend our appreciation to the conference organizers for an excellent event. We look forward to the next one!
