LTSA is a non-governmental, self-funded organization formed in 2005 responsible for operating BC’s land title and survey systems and other land-related registries. These systems provide the foundation for all real property business and ownership in the province.
LTSA delivers secure land titles through timely and efficient registration of land title interests and survey records. These services are an essential underpinning to BC’s private property market and the civil justice system, and to BC’s civic governance, taxation and Crown land management frameworks.
LTSA also encompasses its wholly-owned subsidiary, LandSure Systems (LandSure). LandSure develops and operates LTSA’s mission-critical technology to enable land-related transactions. With support from the LandSure team, LTSA processes over four million online business transactions each year.
