LTSA runs live, one-hour webinars designed for legal professionals who prepare and submit land title applications. In these sessions, participants learn best practices for completing packages and gain insights into how LTSA receives, processes and registers applications.

Webinars are complimentary and are often eligible for continuing education credits.

Land Owner Transparency Registry (LOTR) Filing Requirements & Ongoing Obligations

In this one-hour session, you will be stepped through a variety of Land Owner Transparency Registry (LOTR) filings including:

  • transparency declarations and reports
  • subdivisions and the effect on prior filings
  • filings for less common situations such as where registered owner is only holding a portion of the interest in an undeclared trust
  • tips for filing amendments to LOTR filings.

Ongoing filing obligations will be reviewed in detail. Plus, resources for policy, practice and system functionality will be highlighted.

Course objective: to advance customer knowledge, reduce LOTR filing errors, and encourage self-help through available online resources.

Who should attend? This course was designed specifically for paralegals, legal assistants, lawyers, notaries and other professionals who prepare and submit to the Land Owner Transparency Registry (LOTR).

SurveyHub Webinar Series in June

LTSA is offering beginner, advanced and drop-in webinars on SurveyHub, an online pre-submission workspace where land surveyors and their staff can assemble survey plan packages. All sessions will be delivered by Peter Haas, Senior Policy Analyst and Deputy Surveyor General.

To register, select from the options below. Registrants will receive a calendar appointment and webinar link. Don’t hesitate to register for more than one session.

Introduction to SurveyHub

These sessions are targeted at land surveyors and their staff who have yet to prepare a plan using SurveyHub. This 1.5 hour webinar will review the entire workflow from beginning to submission. Helpful tips and tricks will also be outlined.

Advanced SurveyHub

Geared for self-taught customers or those who participated or watched the level 1 webinar offered in December 2024 and January 2025. Limited to 45 minutes, this session is for customers comfortable with the basics and looking to advance their knowledge. More helpful tricks and new features will be reviewed to get the most out of SurveyHub.

Drop-in SurveyHub

This 1-hour session is akin to open office hours. There will be no planned instruction. Instead, bring questions on anything and everything related to SurveyHub. Questions will be addressed on a first come first served basis. Don’t have any questions, benefit from listening to the responses addressing queries from industry colleagues.
