The Director of Land Titles has updated Practice Bulletin No. 02-11, Enduring Powers of Attorney to reflect the changes to the Power of Attorney Act and the Power of Attorney Regulation that come into effect on January 1, 2023. The updates provide practice guidance regarding land title requirements for enduring powers of attorney that have been remotely witnessed under the new alternative witnessing processes and are to be used for land title purposes.
