The Director of Land Titles has issued updated E-filing Directions with added direction for supporting documents in a foreign language and updated links.
If a supporting document is in a foreign language it must be translated into the English language and completed in compliance with Supporting documents for Electronic Applications and Web Filing Form Practice Guides. The translator must be fluent in both English and the foreign language and must complete a statutory declaration confirming the translation is accurate and true.
In alignment with these directions, updates to Supporting Documents for Electronic Applications and the following Web Filing Form Practice Guides have also been published with added direction for supporting documents in a foreign language:
- Form 17 Charge, Notation or Filing,
- Form 17 Cancellation of Charge, Notation or Filing,
- Form 17 Fee Simple, Declaration
DR 04-11 has also been published with updated links for accuracy.
