Salman is a lawyer and senior executive with extensive experience in insurance, energy, mobility, sport, and governance. Salman currently serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal and Membership Experience Officer at BCAA where he oversees customer experience operations including oversight of BCAA’s network of 29 stores, sales call center, and digital/web channel. Prior to BCAA, Salman was Chief Legal Officer of Westport Innovations, a TSX-NASDAQ cross-listed public company and, prior to that, Director & Legal Counsel, Legal Services at VANOC for the 2010 Olympic Games.
Salman was called to the British Columbia Bar is 2003 and originally practiced law for several years in the areas of corporate law, mergers, and acquisitions.
Salman is a past Board member of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (BC) and the Kidney Foundation of Canada (BC).
Salman holds law degrees from Oxford University and UBC, and completed his undergraduate degree at SFU.
