Retirement of E-filing Exemptions for Government Applicants

As previously announced, the Director of Land Titles has removed the exemption to electronic filing for applications submitted by the Province and local governments with a population under 5,000. This change requires these entities to prepare and submit applications electronically.

The exemption has been removed effective October 2, 2024.

LTSA’s Authorized Subscriber Register enables organizations that employ a statutory officer or BC commissioner to electronically prepare and submit land title documents. The services of a lawyer or notary public can also be retained.
