Web Filing Enhancements

Effective June 19, several Web Filing enhancements will address customer feedback regarding Land Owner Transparency Registry filings.

  • “Create new record” assists customers to select the correct form, especially helpful for filers required to submit a stand-alone transparency report.
  • Increased character limit to 15,000 (from 5,000) for free form text boxes – the equivalent of five pages of single-spaced content – provides ample space for additional information.
  • Copying content from a transparency report created incorrectly as part of a joint filing to an new (independent) filing limits duplicating data entry.

These and other ongoing refinements increase integration, accuracy and efficiency.

In addition, customers submitting land title filings will be required to include the address and city associated with Corporate Transferees/Lenders/Borrowers otherwise a validation error will be triggered.  This enhancement is the latest in a series of Web Filing validations introduced this spring and summer.
