To ensure compliance with section 15(1) of the Land Owner Transparency Act (LOTA)
- Do not submit a transparency declaration and report with your change of company name application. A change of company name is not an interest in land under LOTA.
- Do not submit a transparency report containing the name of the previous corporation.
- Do not use the manual entry button in order to skip adding the title number.
Information included in transparency records must be current. Information that is not current will result in a non-compliant filing.
