As announced on March 3, 2022, a small increase to most Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) services fees is now in effect. LTSA will use revenue from the fee increase to address the impact of inflation on operations.
As announced April 1, 2022, fees for filing transparency declarations and transparency reports to the Land Owner Transparency Registry (LOTR) will be changing effective May 1, 2022.
Under our Operating Agreement with the Province, LTSA may increase its services fees under the Land Title Act, Land Act, Mineral Tenure Act, and Oil and Gas Activities Act annually by the adjusted Consumer Price Index (CPI) amount and reviews the need for a CPI increase annually. View current LTSA fees as of April 1, 2022.
As a regulated, not-for-profit statutory authority, LTSA reinvests cash from operations to continually add value in the public interest. Since its creation in 2005, LTSA has invested $104 million (as at March 31, 2021) to maintain operational excellence and leverage technology and other innovations to become one of the top performing land title and survey systems in the world.
