Administrator, Land Owner Transparency Registry (LOTR) Updated Administrator’s Requirements for Filing & Applications

The Administrator, Land Owner Transparency Registry (LOTR) has published updates to the Administrator’s Requirements for Filing and Applications as described below:

Land Owner Transparency Registry Administrator’s Requirements for Filing and Applications:

  • Amended to reflect changes as a result of Bill 7 – 2023 Land Owner Transparency Amendment Act that were effective November 20, 2023.
  • Added new definitions and process for LTSA’s electronic filing services dedicated for use by members of the public for limited types of applications.

LOTR was established in support of the Province’s comprehensive plan for eliminating hidden ownership of real estate in BC. The Land Title and Survey Authority of BC is responsible for developing and operating LOTR as set out in the Land Owner Transparency Act .
