In the coming weeks, Surveyor General submission checklists will be updated to clarify certain submission requirements for natural boundary applications.
As part of those updates, submissions will require a letter of agency, providing the registered owner’s written authorization for you to act on their behalf, as part of your submission for applications made pursuant to s.94(1)(c), 94(1)(d), or 108(3) of the Land Title Act or s.58 of the Land Act. Land surveyors are encouraged to adopt the practice prior to the effective date.
