The release of the new version (Version 37) of the Property Transfer Tax (PTT) web-based return is scheduled for April 1, 2024.
Version 37 of the web-based PTT return will introduce the threshold change to the first-time homebuyers’ exemption and the newly built home exemption, announced as part of budget 2024.
Web Filing versions of the PTT Return V36 electronically signed before April 1 will not be accepted on or after April 1, 2024 (11:59am, March 31). PTT Returns not electronically signed prior to April 1 will automatically transition to Version 37.
