If a change of company name or change of company name due to amalgamation is required to update the name of the registered owner in the land title register, filers must wait until the application has been registered before filing a transparency report to the Land Owner Transparency Registry (LOTR).
Only after receiving confirmation from the land title office can the filer proceed to filing to LOTR.
