Verified Transaction

LTSA is leading the digital transformation of real estate transactions, working to modernize and simplify the property transfer process while enhancing trust, transparency, and security for the public. Benefits for property owners include:

  • Better transparency and control of title
  • Easier access to consolidated property information
  • Greater digitization of the homebuying process
  • Peace of mind through lowered risk of fraud

Services for Property Owners

LTSA is developing a digital service for property owners that will provide alerts for new land title transactions and other property-related updates. Property owners will be able to find updates in one place while also helping ensure a strong and secure land title system.

Verified Professionals

In addition to working with property owners, LTSA is updating the process to confirm identity and accreditation for professionals who facilitate property transactions for property owners. Beginning with lawyers, a digital credential issued by their regulatory body will confirm professional accreditation and ID. This program will be expanded to other professions in subsequent phases.

Building for the Future

LTSA is preparing for the future by strengthening our systems and building value in the public interest. By updating the verification of real estate transactions, we will limit the opportunity for identify theft and fraud, enable secure digital connections for property owners and give owners greater agency over their property status.
