Effective April 27, the Judgement Nature of Interest on a Form 17 (Charge, Notation or Filing) will have a new drop-down menu from which to chose supporting evidence types prior to uploading attachments. Providing a list of approved document types will assist customers upload the correct supporting evidence, leading to reduced defects and quicker turnaround times.
After its release, to assist with applications (prior to e-signing) with previously attached documents, helpful text will guide customers to delete and upload attachments under the new system.
Earlier this year, a similar system enhancement was rolled out for the Transmission to Surviving Joint Tenant application by a legal professional (Form 17 Fee Simple).
