Effective July 31, version 21 of the Application to Deposit Plan (DSPL) form is available for new submissions. In alignment with last month’s announcement, changes to the DSPL include:
- On the schedule of Surveyor General Approvals:
- Added approval – Declaration Land is included in the grant, Land Act s. 58. This new approval type allows the Surveyor General to distinguish between s. 58 applications seeking to clarify existing ownership or seeking to transfer land from Crown to private ownership.
- Removed approval – Public Road through Crown Land, Ministry of Lands, Park and Housing s. 9(1). For more information, visit Submissions to Surveyor General web page.
- Other Updates – Completed minor revisions to improve clarity in language and consistency in format.
- On the schedule of Approving Officers and Provincial Approvers:
- Added approval – Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, LTA s. 80. This new approval type allows approving officers to sign under s. 80 on behalf of the minister charged with the administration of the Transportation Act.
- Revised approval – Subdivision by Way of Lease, LTA s. 99(1)(k) by including a date of approval.
