Most Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) fees will increase as of April 1, 2026. LTSA uses revenue from fees to cover operational costs and address the impact of inflation.
Under LTSA’s core agreements with the Province, LTSA may increase fees under the Land Title Act, Land Act, Land Owner Transparency Act, Mineral Tenure Act, and Energy Resource Activities Act annually by the adjusted Consumer Price Index (CPI) amount and reviews the need for a CPI increase annually.
Land Title Act service fees are payable to LTSA and remitted to both LTSA and the Province. For Land Title Act services, the fee increase will only be applied to LTSA’s portion of fees, resulting in a net increase of 1.58% to the overall customer fee. LTSA’s electronic transaction service charge, Land Owner Transparency Registry filing fees and other LTSA administrative fees will increase by approximately 3%.
