Effective September 14, and as previously announced, Surveyor General submission checklists have been updated to clarify certain submission requirements for natural boundary applications. Sample checklists are published under each application type on the Submissions to Surveyor General page.
The Surveyor General now requires the submission of a letter of agency, providing the registered owner’s written authorization for you to act on their behalf, as part of your submission for applications made pursuant to s.94(1)(c), 94(1)(d), or 108(3) of the Land Title Act or s.58 of the Land Act. Review the sample form template – Owner’s Authorization of Agent for Surveyor General.
