ParcelMap BC 2022 Year In Review

As we jump into the new year, let’s take a quick look back at milestones achieved in 2022.

  • ParcelMap BC celebrated its fifth anniversary.
  • After more than 20 years in operation, the Integrated Cadastral Fabric (ICF) retired in July officially ushering in ParcelMap BC as the Province’s ‘common canvas’ for geospatial data. Read more.
  • Thousands of cadastral updates and improvements were made to ParcelMap BC. In addition, the two-day target for publishing updates was consistently surpassed.
  • Spatial Improvement Assessment (SIA) app continues to provide transparency and insight into spatial improvement planning.
  • Representing a 20% increase from the previous year, the 100th adopter milestone was surpassed for a total of 114 adopters by year end.
