Retirement of E-filing Exemptions for Government Applicants

The Director of Land Titles is removing the exemption to electronic filing for applications submitted by the Province and local governments with a population under 5,000. This change will require these entities to prepare and submit applications electronically.

The exemption will be removed effective October 2, 2024 and applications will be required to be submitted electronically.

LTSA’s Authorized Subscriber Register enables organizations that employ a statutory officer or BC commissioner to electronically prepare and submit land title documents. The services of a lawyer or notary public can also be retained.
