Effective October 10, Survey Plan Certification (SPC) and Survey Plan Submission to Surveyor General (CLRS) forms reflect revised Surveyor Statements, based on Association of BC Land Surveyors recommendations, and are available in SurveyHub. An updated offline version of the SPC form is available on LTSA.ca to coincide with the SurveyHub release.
The updated plan certification statements reads:
Form 9
I am a British Columbia Land Surveyor, and I certify that:
(a) I personally superintended the survey represented by this plan;
(b) the survey and plan are correct and comply with the Survey and Plan Rules and all applicable statutes.
Form 9A / Partially Compiled Land Act Plan
I am a British Columbia Land Surveyor, and I certify that:
(a) I personally superintended those portions of the survey represented by this plan;
(b) the survey and plan are correct and comply with the specific instructions issued by the Surveyor General of British Columbia.
Land surveyors should use the updated SPC and CLRS forms for all plans signed after the effective date.
