LTSA is developing a new online service for land surveyors to be launched in spring 2024. SurveyHub will offer a modern pre-submission workspace and smoother workflow for land surveyors to assemble datasets and plans online. This fall, a selection of land surveyors are testing plan preparation and submission workflows in a live environment. In this inaugural SurveyHub pilot, four plan types will be available: Oil & Gas Activities Act, Posting, Reference and Explanatory Plans. Land surveyor input is indispensable in building the groundwork for SurveyHub functionality upon which to iteratively release complex scenarios.
To support current and future workflows Practice Bulletin 3 has been updated to version 4 with minor changes in order to generalize the submission method allowed. The revised Practice Bulletin 3 is effective September 25, 2023 and is applicable to all land surveyors, including those participating in the SurveyHub Pilot. These changes do not require any change in practice at this time.
