Language Issue in Select Web Filing Forms
The Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) is addressing a language issue in three Web Filing forms:
- For Form A and Form B, the language used to effect a transfer or mortgage is incorrect. Although the intended result of a filing remains intact, this language error may call into question the validity of the instrument pursuant to section 15 of the Property Law Act.

- For the Local Government Filing Form, the NOI information may not be consistent with the other information entered into the form.
For customers who may be in process of executing a Form A, Form B or Local Government filing form prepared using Web Filing, the Registrar will accept an application that includes a declaration setting out what correction was made to the form execution language or NOI, as appropriate.
The language issue will be corrected in Web Filing by Monday, June 15, 2020. All customers who have used Web Filing to prepare a Form A, Form B or Local Government filing application that has not yet been executed are advised to stop using the existing form immediately and re-apply using the corrected forms on Monday.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
