The Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) is celebrating three years since ParcelMap BC became fully operational province-wide on June 30, 2017, and two years from the inception of the ParcelMap BC Adoption Working Group. The evolution of ParcelMap BC can now be viewed through a new interactive story map (Note: StoryMaps works on the latest versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge), which shares its story, from the original scope to milestone enhancements and achievements.
Serving as a common reference for parcel information in BC, ParcelMap BC provides standardized and up-to-date parcel information which improves land-related research, planning and business decisions. More than 56 local governments, provincial agencies and utilities to date have adopted ParcelMap BC as their authoritative cadastral fabric.
