LTSA to Introduce Online Filing of Change of Mailing Address for BC Property Owners

Over the coming months, the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC (LTSA) will begin introducing online access for select land title applications submitted directly to LTSA by property owners. Shifting from paper-based to online services is a key step in improving customers’ experience, improving accuracy and reducing registration times.

The process for property owners to submit a Change of Mailing Address on Title will change to an online application in Summer 2022. The BC Services Card app will be used to authenticate the identity of the applicant. Widely used by BC citizens, the BC Services Card app is a secure way to verify identity.

Property owners will access the Change of Mailing Address application on LTSA.ca and the option to mail in or deliver an application in person will continue to be available.

The addition of new online services is a vital step to offering improved equity and better access to land title services.
