Retirement of PDF Forms for Land Title Applications revised to September 12, 2021

UPDATE September 2021: Please note all below PDF form versions are now retired. Web Filing forms are required for submissions in myLTSA. PDF versions will only be accepted if they were executed or e-signed before the retirement date.

In response to stakeholder and customer feedback, the Director of Land Titles has revised the retirement date for PDF versions of certain land title forms. The following forms are currently available in Web Filing and will be retired on September 12, 2021:

  • Form A Freehold Transfer
  • Form B Mortgage
  • Form C Release
  • Form C Charge

PDF versions of these retired land title forms will only be accepted if they were executed or e-signed before September 12, 2021. Once PDF forms are retired, Web Filing forms will be required for submissions in myLTSA.

New functionality will be introduced to Web Filing in Summer 2021 to make the submission process easier and more efficient. Customers will have the ability to validate a package, add a Land Owner Transparency Registry (LOTR) reference,  and view status directly in Web Filing. For packages where all forms are created in Web Filing, customers will also be able to submit directly from Web Filing.

Web Filing is designed with ongoing customer input and testing and is one of several steps towards streamlining land title submissions and maintaining a secure and reliable electronic filing system. A number of resources and video tutorials are available to support customers’ transition to Web Filing.
