Please be aware that LTSA’s Land Title Office front counters are open 9 am – 3 pm, Monday to Friday by appointment only. Many common transactions are now available online. To book an in-person visit, contact the Customer Service Centre at 1-877-577-LTSA (5872) .

Retirement of PDF Forms for Land Title Applications

UPDATE September 2021: Please note all below PDF form versions are now retired. Web Filing forms are required for submissions in myLTSA. PDF versions will only be accepted if they were executed or e-signed before the retirement date.

The Director of Land Titles will begin to retire PDF versions of certain land title forms as of December 13, 2020. The following forms are currently available in Web Filing.

Retirement dates for each PDF form are as follows:

Claim of Builder’s Lien December 13, 2020
Form 17 Charge February 1, 2021
Form 17 Cancellation February 1, 2021
Form 17 Fee Simple February 1, 2021
Local Government Filing Form February 1, 2021
Strata Property Act Filing Form February 1, 2021
Form A Freehold Transfer May 1, 2021
Form B Mortgage May 1, 2021
Form C Release May 1, 2021
Form C Charge May 1, 2021

Once PDF forms are retired, Web Filing forms will be required for land title submissions in myLTSA. PDF versions of retired land title forms will only be accepted if they were executed or e-signed before the indicated retirement dates.

Please note, for survey plan submissions to the Land Title Office, the Application to Deposit (DSPL) and the Survey Plan Certification (SPC) forms will continue to be available as PDF forms.

Customers are advised to prepare and plan for the scheduled retirement of the PDF versions of land title forms, and to visit the Web Filing page in myLTSA to start preparing Web Filing forms. Tutorial videos and help articles for Web Filing are available on help.ltsa.ca. The myLTSA Technical Support team is available to answer questions and help resolve any issues you may experience.
