Claim of Builders Lien Online Application Now Available

File a Claim of Builders Lien application online at ltsa.ca/FileCBL. The new online application includes the option to easily prepopulate key information. LTSA encourages customers to use the online form to submit an application online, by mail or in person.

Ministry of Finance Announces Updated Property Transfer Tax Form (Version 26) in Effect June 10, 2016

The Ministry of Finance has authorized a new Property Transfer Tax (PTT) form (version 26) effective June 10, 2016. The updated form will be available through the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC (LTSA) website.IMPORTANT: ONLY VERSION 26 OF THE PROPERTY TRANSFER TAX FORM WILL BE ACCEPTED EFFECTIVE JUNE 10, 2016.The requirement to collect citizenship and other information comes into force on June 10, 2016 and the Ministry has updated the form to accommodate the collection. Guidance on the information required is outlined in this information sheet. You may also preview the updated format by viewing a sample copy of the PTT form (version 26).The sample copy is for information purposes only and cannot be used for filing. If you have a signed PTT form (version 25) on June 10, 2016, you can keep that signed PTT form (version 25) in your files. However, once you file with the LTSA, you must electronically file a signed updated PTT form (version 26) and submit that version with all the required fields filled in.The updated PTT form will be available for download from the Land Title Forms page, or from the download forms template page in myLTSA Enterprise.
