Customer Feedback Shapes Web Filing
The first phase of Web Filing is now available in myLTSA, with forms and functionality that continue to be enhanced through ongoing system releases. By introducing Web Filing gradually, the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) can minimize disruption to its customers’ business and improve collaboration on system design by incorporating customer feedback into its ongoing development efforts. One of the ways we do this is through conducting usability studies with customers who have started to use Web Filing.
In these sessions, a LTSA User Experience Designer works with a small group of customers to test the usability of new features and collect feedback on how Web Filing can be improved. In the most recent study in May 2020, customers told us that the ability to automatically populate sections of Web Filing forms with already-entered data was an important feature, particularly for applicant information. Customers also shared insights on the end-to-end workflow for Web Filing and offered suggestions to help make their work more efficient.
Findings from usability studies are being incorporated into Web Filing in the coming weeks, as well as into ongoing system enhancements. By Summer 2020, all Web Filing forms will be available, along with new functionality such as auto-populate and collaboration tools. If you’d like to provide feedback about Web Filing, participate in a future usability study for Web Filing, or participate in other LTSA’s business and technology consultations, please complete this form. We encourage customers to visit our Web Filing page for more information, or contact moreinfo@ltsa.ca with any questions.
