LTSA and subsidiary LandSure Systems recognized as two of BC’s Top Employers in 2021

The Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) and our wholly-owned subsidiary LandSure Systems Ltd. (LandSure) have been recognized as two of BC’s Top Employers in 2021 by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers.

“We are not your typical land title registry—we are focused on using innovation and technology to deliver a positive customer experience while also improving the consistency, accuracy and efficiency of our systems,” says Al-Karim Kara, President and Chief Executive Officer. “Connectivity and our sense of a shared mission have enabled us to not only maintain land title services in the midst of COVID-19 but to deliver on important public interest initiatives such as the Land Owner Transparency Registry (LOTR).”

“At the LTSA, we value our people and prioritize developing their skills, knowledge and abilities,” says Samantha Mitchell, Acting VP Human Resources. “We offer meaningful work and our people understand that they are helping provide responsive and trusted expertise, as well as reliable land title and survey systems, both of which are an essential foundation to BC’s economic and social prosperity.”

The LTSA and its subsidiary LandSure Systems currently employ approximately 180 people in four offices throughout the province. A variety of career opportunities are available in areas such as customer operations, policy, human resources, communications, and information technology.

Now in its 16th year, BC’s Top Employers is a special designation that recognizes those employers in BC that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work. Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offer the most progressive and forward-thinking programs to attract and retain talented employees.
